Stately 1929 Restoration

This 1929 home has had several renovations in its lifetime. Most recent was in 1971 when new white cabinets were used to replace the original in the small kitchen area. At the same time, the family room was added over the garages, and the original servant entrance foyer was changed into a mirror clad wet bar.

"Can we just make it all one room?" was the client request, as well as a designer and contractor challenge. The space had four different ceiling heights, three different floors, support walls to remove, and hot water heat pipes in the walls to be removed. The final project is a testimony to the skill and craftsmanship of the contractor.
